Technology is taking over our lives. It wakes us up, entertains us, moves us, organises us, and even reminds us to run. Earlier this month, however, Google was awarded a new patent that could potentially allow them to use technology to control how we smell.
On February 10, Google patented a movement-tracker that would be connected to the web, and act to detect any offending smells by de-odorising them through a squirt of fragrance. Google has also suggested that the technology could be used to locate smelly friends in an attempt to help you avoid them.
